Maynard Schuetzen Target Rifle 32-35 Maynard Caliber***SOLD***

Antique Maynard No. 15 Target Model. Half octagon 27" barrel with no rear barrel dovetail, owner says it is a 32-35 Maynard caliber with an excellent bore. 50% of the original blueing remains. The receiver is marked 1873, Edward Maynard, Patentee, May 27 1851 and Dec 6 1859 on the left side of the receiver and the right side has the three line Mass Arms address stamped above "1882". Original 3 1/2" tall tang sight with possible replaced eyecup.

The wood is solid with no breaks or cracks, checkered forend and a straight butstock with a Swiss type buttplate.
